Autodesk BIM Collaborate Now Available

On Tuesday, the 9th of February 2021, Autodesk announced three significant updates to their architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) design customers. Initially announced at Autodesk University 2020, “Autodesk Docs” is now included in the AEC Collection, BIM 360 Design is now “Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro” and “Autodesk BIM Collaborate” is now available globally:

  • Autodesk Docs – A centralized document management solution that provides users with seamless navigation and integrated workflows to create a single source of truth across the project lifecycle.
  • Autodesk BIM Collaborate – For non-authoring collaborators, including project managers, owners, virtual design and construction specialists, and others. Built on the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform, BIM Collaborate will enable teams to align and execute on design intent and constructability within a cloud-based solution.
  • Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro – Formerly known as BIM 360 Design, it adds the Model Coordination and Insight modules to connect the collaboration services of Revit Cloud Worksharing, Collaboration for Civil 3D, and Collaboration for Plant 3D to the Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Autodesk is also supporting customers digital transformation goals by providing access to unlimited cloud storage in Autodesk Docs and made announcements around its construction management solution for construction teams: “Autodesk Build” is now available globally.
