We never thought about it, but there is something incredibly surreal about attending a real-life conference in the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic. Being one of the first in-person conferences since COVID-19, this year’s BiLT ANZ 2021 conference was about connecting and re-connecting with like-minded colleagues and friends. And it was an indescribable joy for us.
BILT ANZ 2021 – the number one conference for training and strategic thinking in BIM and Digital Engineering in the built environment – took place between the 10th and 12th of March 2022 at International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney). And despite it being about half the size of previous BILT conferences in Australia, it was a great way to bring BILT ANZ back after being put on hold for so long.
As part of the conference, our own Holger de Groot and Maciej Wypych presented their industry talks on Thursday, 10th March and Saturday, 12th March 2022.
Being the first Modmation team member to present on Thursday, Holger talked about distributed workforces and how the lack of communication can pose a severe challenge for BIM Managers and their teams in a remote environment. On Saturday, Maciej focused on troubleshooting the performance of Revit, demystifying journal files and best practices for model management to improve model speed when working with Revit.
Contact us if you want to know more about their presentations or how our team can help you support your distributed teams and increase your Revit performance.
